' Vicious circles, episode 4 '
by Thaddeus Hutyra

Tadek Vangard could not believe his own eyes
Steven Mac Dantosch was a real master in martial arts
- ‘ Thanks to God Allmighty. ‘ - He murmured to himself
As if Steven Mac Dantosch had an olive laurel on his head
given to him by gods of Olympus
he rapidly ascended up into the air, with incredible dynamics
and gave a powerful knock-out blow to his enemy
with both of his legs
It took a long time before the mafia guy
regained his consciousness
It took some time again before Steven Mac Dantosch
succeeded in getting some truth out of the gangster
- ‘ It’s Harry Gullivers.’ - The guy said. - ‘ It is he
who implicated you in the murder
who made everyone believe that you are the murderer ‘

Everything was clear now to Steven Mac Dantosch
He has found himself in a vicious labyrinth
in a maddening world, in which no rules could be applied
except for those who filled patterns of vicious circles
if there were such ones…
In a labyrinth somehow very similar to the one
in which his friend, Tadek Vangard, was lost
There was no way out of the labyrinth, for both of them
and for the foreseeable time

He was astonished at the same time
that although he knew Tadek Vangard
only for three months, he already considered him
his best friend he ever had
His friend was a great heart, a golden soul
There was something in the air
what linked both of them
What was it ? Was it that their labyrinths
were like an invisible glass curtain
through which they could not get back
into the normal world ?
For reasons of not of their making?
For treasonable things in fact ?
Perhaps this too, but mainly it was the bond
which evolved between them
the authentic bond of friendship

While he was implicated in a murder
Tadek Vangard had to escape from his pursuers
constantly, perpetually
mainly from agents of some special intelligence services
the CIA and KGB agents, MI6 and the Polish SB
But why CIA ? Why MI6 ? Why any of them ?!
The drama was they were convinced
he had a copy of the so-called strategy Beehive
a strategy which was of the uppermost importance
for the secret intelligence agencies
of both, the West and the East
and far beyond, to the highest echelons of power
It was already 1984, three years
since Tadek Vangard emigrated out of Poland
The Soviet Union still had ambition
to rule the world and probably Pax Sovietus
was the primary drive among the rulers of the Kremlin
In Tadek Vangard’s eyes this unimaginable labyrinth
he found himself in was of an utter nonsense
he had no idea what the strategy was about
and he did not have the strategy
How could he convince about it all those secret agents
to whom he was just a rabbit, an important rabbit ?

In the meantime, Steven Mac Dantosch
had to ‘ deal ‘ against his will with Harry Gullivers
and his mafia, the so-called ‘ Hell Angels ‘
How ironic was it !
He himself had to escape from the ones
who implicated him in a murder
despite that he was innocent
He did not kill Eduardo, the boyfriend
of his sister, Emmanuelle Burrows
He was sure now that Harry Gullivers did it
Or at least someone from within his mafia
He did not know then that Harry Gullivers
was a mafia godfather in America, a very powerful one
What he knew then was that Harry Gullivers
was a world class businessman from the United States
That false image, unknown at that time
to the Australian family Burrows
caused that Joseph Burrows, the father of Steven Mac Dantosch
made a partnership deal with Harry Gullivers
Together they created a corporation
one of the biggest telecommunications’ companies in the world
the Galaxy Entertainments
Also many television channels, film studios and newspapers
became part of the new company

He knew now why Harry Gullivers did what he did
and he knew what was going to happen in a further perspective
The entire family Burrows was going to be eliminated
unless he, Steven Mac Dantosch, does something
what will stop the madman, Harry Gullivers
How can he prove his innocence ?
Unfortunately, also…Interpol searched him
He was now recognized around the world as a murderer
cold blooded murderer … a psychopath...
but he was not a murderer, he was innocent…
and he was not a psychopath either...
He did not shoot his sister's boyfriend
he did not kill him ! God, he hasn't done it !
An enormous pain pierced through his mind
yet again and again
as so many times since he was on the run

Unfortunately nobody believed him
and it was the gravest matter
There was the evidence, the gun
and even what stranger, his finger marks…
Could he had been drugged in order
to get his fingers marks on the gun ?
Harry Gullivers was certainly a master in his field
Especially that nobody ever thought of him
to be a mafia godfather
On the contrary, he was still recognized worldwide
as a great businessman, one, who would have chances
to become the president of the United States
if he decided to run
He, Steven Mac Dantosch, in the meantime
had to change his identity
He could no longer be Steven Burrows, his real identity
he had to be someone else, Steven Mac Dantosch
perpetually running away for his own life
as was the case with his friend, Tadek Vangard

Steven Mac Dantosch had impression that severe pain
still blew up in his head. He glanced or rather scowled
at the mafia guy with an expression on his face
full of antipathy and contempt
- ‘ Get out of me. Get away ! Begone !
Tell your boss I’ll get him one day ‘
He almost snarled at the guy
He did not have to repeat himself
The mafia guy coyly retreated
and then took to his heels
A minute later he disappeared from their eyes
Steven Mac Dantosch and Tadek Vangard
approached their car, metallic silver Porsche Carrera
Only minutes later they were far away from Georgetown
They had to get out of Malaysia
because their enemies knew they are there
