Please find something, anything
To keep you out of the snow drifts
Something buoyant and light
To keep you afloat
Do not leave boot prints on the hills
Just rise above, above
The snow will not melt
But you can fly
Up and up
Into the pale sky
Past angel-shaped clouds
And circling birds
There is something else there
Above the frozen world
And the liberating winds
It is older than words
But it might just be
